Akad Nikah of Baihaqi Kira, Epitome of Jigsaw Falling into Place
“As a perfectionist, letting go of control was a big challenge I faced during this pandemic let alone organising and planning my wedding day. I’d imagine myself taking months to plan it and dictate over everything but little did I know God had other things planned for me. I had little control over so many things because we planned this wedding over a mere 24-48 hours due to the impending lockdown. It has been almost a month since our big day which was a very intimate ceremony with loved ones at home. I’d describe my wedding to be an epitome of jigsaw falling into place. With strict SOPs, limited time and innumerable uncertainties, Kurt was able to capture all the stills that I‘m certain has that magic to take us back to the exact precious moment for us to reminisce on when we grow old and grey. I’d like to extend my sincerest gratitude to Kurt for taking up the challenge to be our photographer within 12hours notice. He dropped his weekend plans and even though I know as a perfectionist himself he would have studied his client well before taking up the job, however he was able to deliver his artwork as though he had known our story for a long time. I’m so glad I was able to let him do his thing and just let go, be myself and live in the moment. I’m a firm believer that there are no coincidences in this life. Everything has been well orchestrated by our Creator and I’m most grateful to be able to experience that. Kurt was able to capture all that and I could even feel the love that was radiated on that day which is especially precious to us during tough times like this pandemic when it’s often harder to feel love. Once again thank you Kurt and team for delivering those beautiful photos to us promptly and thoughtfully. With love and gratitude.”
